Job Summary

As a Data Analyst at Optum, you will:

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret structured & semi-structured healthcare datasets.

• Develop rule-based logic and predictive models for process optimization and error detection.

• Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI.

• Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tasks using SQL and Python.

• Collaborate with business, operations, and quality teams to define KPIs and reporting frameworks.

• Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and validation at every stage.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and Python.

• Proficiency in Excel and database handling.

• Ability to interpret large healthcare datasets.

• Solid understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst (preferably in healthcare).

• Prior experience in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).

• Hands-on expertise with SQL queries and Python.
