This role is part of a 24x7 global Cybersecurity Operations team responsible for intrusion monitoring, incident response, and safeguarding critical systems. Job Summary

As an Associate Analyst – Cyber Defence Center, you will monitor, detect, and respond to security threats in real time. You will work closely with IT operations and security teams to investigate incidents, assess vulnerabilities, and enhance the company’s overall security posture. This is an excellent entry-level role for candidates with 0–2 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Work in a 24x7 Cybersecurity Operations Center (SOC) providing real-time monitoring and response.

• Handle and resolve incidents from the ticket management queue.

• Perform incident response (IR) analysis and provide actionable recommendations.

• Investigate new or previously undisclosed hardware/software vulnerabilities.

• Execute daily SOC compliance operations and system health monitoring.

• Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, tools, and best practices.

• Automate routine tasks through coding/scripting on preferred platforms.

• Participate in shift handovers, weekly reports, and monthly performance meetings.

• Support security-related projects in collaboration with stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 0–2 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT administration.

• Strong foundation in cybersecurity operations, monitoring, and incident response.

• Knowledge of programming or scripting (preferred).

• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).

• Ability to prepare incident reports and technical documentation.

• Willingness to work in rotational shifts for weekend coverage.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Additional certifications in cybersecurity tools/technologies will be a plus.

Work Schedule

• Shift Timing: 8:30 PM IST – 6:00 AM IST

• Workdays: 5 days per week (2 rotating off-days every 4 months).
